Going to Ireland.

=> I'm currently trying to work on an essay for my Literature class, "Reiteration in Shakespeare's Richard III". Not really the best subject I could hope for. Plus the lazy teacher asked us to produce no more than 4 pages (pages, not pieces of paper). That and, with her, we're only allowed to do one of the subjects given - which means that if I write my essay on Richard III, I won't be allowed to do the one on Tess, whereas last semester I could do both and the teachers picked the best grade of the two essays as my final grade. I'm actually wondering whether I shouldn't do the essay on Tess rather than this one, given that a) I really don't like this subject and b) I don't know Tess as well as I know Richard III so it would actually be better for me and c) I won't get an essay on Richard III in the exam anyway because they will think that 1) students wouldn't be able to do it (and unfortunately they might not be wrong) and 2) the students that were in prépa last year might have a certain advantage (and they might be right on that as well). So here I am, trying to work on an essay I might not even give back. I guess it will depend on how it goes. The only real plus side to giving this essay back is that I won't be overwhelmed by work for the next holidays...
=> Now back to the main topic of this post : I'm actually going to be in Ireland not this week-end but the one after that. Because after the massive fight we have had (which is now solved, my love is actually even better than I thought and eventually recognised his wrongs and apologised for them) I think we need to see each othed. And because I'm a huge fan of the Lagardère technique - Lagardère is the main character of a French novel written by Paul Féval, Le Bossu and of at least 2 movies derivated from it, and is responsible for one of my favourite quotes ever, "Si tu ne viens pas à Lagardère, Lagardère viendra à toi !" - "If you don't come to Lagardère, Lagardère will come to you". I tend to use this technique a lot with tea bags - if I can't bring my tea bag to the bin, I bring the bin to the tea bag. Yes, I know, I'm weird.
=> I'm really beginning to be very fond of Swedish thrillers. After Millenium, I'm now reading Camilla Läckberg's book The Ice Princess, first book in a series of novels, and though I prefer Millenium's characters and storyline - The Ice Princess is a bit more common - it is still very well written and interesting. I wish I could read Swedish to be able to appreciate those books even more. Yes, I know, I'm weird.
=> And now that I've finished writing this post I've decided that I can't be bothered with that essay. I'll work on Tess as soon as I get the subject for it. And for now I'll work on British Civilisation. Yes, it's definitely better this way.
