En fait, je m'attendais à quelque chose d'assez différent, qui parte un peu plus loin dans le passé, pour nous donner, au hasard, des exemples de personnages transgenres dans l'Antiquité (ou simplement de ce qu'on a pu retrouver/déduire à ce sujet, et il me semble qu'il y a matière à dire).
Néanmoins, j'ai trouvé ça très intéressant, même si un peu "technique" par moments. L'auteure parle plutôt de l'histoire de l'activisme et de comment le mouvement s'est défini, ce qui est fascinant. C'est assez drôle de constater que le livre a été écrit en 2007, et que pas mal de choses ont changé entre temps ! (notamment l'utilisation beaucoup plus étendue du terme "cisgenre").
Je garde ce livre près de moi, et j'y reviendrai certainement un jour ou l'autre !
